Resumen
El respeto al embrión humano y la Ley 14/2006 vigente en
España de reproducción asistida
España se rige por una nueva ley de reproducción humana asistida
que no respeta el derecho a la vida que todo embrión humano (como
individuo de al especie humana) merece. Se aprueba la práctica del
diagnóstico preimplantatorio como método de selección
embrionaria en embriones con altas probabilidades de padecer una
patología de base genética o en embriones sanos que se desea
seleccionar inmunológicamente buscando al compatibilidad con un hermano
enfermo. Se aprueba también la utilización de embriones para
investigación con la consecuente muerte embrionaria y no se limita la
congelación de embriones. Una ley, en suma, que no vela por la dignidad
del embrión humano.

Abstract
Respect to human embryo and Spanish Law 14/2006 on assisted
reproduction
A new law on human assisted reproduction has been approved in Spain. This law
does not respect the right to life that every human embryo, as a member of
human specie, deserves. The law approves the preimplantational genetic
diagnosis as a technique to select embryos that have high possibilities to
carry a genetic disease and also to inmunologicaly select healthy embryos to
choose the one that is compatible with a sick brother or sister. The law also
permits the use of human embryos for research what implies the death of the
embryo and does not limit o forbids freezing human embryos. In summary it is a
law that does not care for the dignity of human embryo.
